BWY CHOCOLATE SPONGE MIX 500G
Light and soft mouthfeel sponge cake that provides a good volume and chocolaty flavour. Suitable as an icing cake or roll cake.
INGREDIENTS
* Chocolate sponge mix 250gm
*Eggs/ (Weigh without shells) 185gm
*Water 50ml
*Melted butter 75gm
* Vanilla essence 1tsp
Method
1. Whisk on top speed sponge mix , eggs ,water and vanilla essence for 5-6 minutes .
2. Fold in melted butter (preferably holding the whisk manually )
3. Pour the batter into 9" round lined and greased mould.
4. Bake for 40-50 minutes at 180c (if cake is ready , the cake will spring back when press with a finger )
